Saku Tume has been delighting Estonian beer lovers since 1960 and is thus the oldest Saku beer brand still in production. The original name of the beer was simply Saku Õlu, but 10 years later, when the second great favorite of the Estonians, Saku Heleda, which was still in production, was produced, this unique brew was renamed Saku Dark.

Saku Tume is the only strong dark beer in Estonia with a rich taste of chestnut brown color. Brewed for an experienced beer drinker who can appreciate the darker taste of dark beer.

In addition to the usual light barley malt, Munich and caramel malt and burnt sugar are also used in the brewing of Saku Tumeda, which gives the beer a special deep color tone, a unique roasted taste and a rich bouquet of aromas.

Another special feature of dark beer is that in order to feel the taste nuances of dark beer best, the beer must be enjoyed at a slightly higher temperature. If the ideal drinking temperature for light beer is considered to be 6-8 ° C (just taken from the fridge), then the best temperature for drinking Saku Dark is 11-15 ° C.
